Profile

Dr Vijaya Mani has done her M.Sc. (Tech.), M.S and PhD from BITS Pilani. and M.B.A from Bharathiar University,Coimbatore. Before getting into academics, she worked as an Assistant Curator at the Birla Museum, Pilani for a period of 5 years supervising the HR activities.

She spent five years as a member of the faculty at Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS), Pilani and has handled courses in the areas of Management. She has coordinated summer projects (Practice School I) carried out by the students (from different disciplines) at IGCAR, Kalpakkam for about 10 years as part of Industry Academia Interface at BITS, Pilani. She has taught courses on Human Resource Management & Organizational Behavior in the capacity of a Senior lecturer at the Hindustan College of Engineering, Chennai. Vijaya Mani joined the SSN Institutions in 2002 and is currently a professor at SSN School of Management & Computer Applications (SSN SoMCA) where her research and teaching focus are in the areas of Human Resource Management, and Organizational Behavior. She has life membership in Indian Women Scientists Association (IWSA).
