S.Gopalakrishnan is a B.Tech (Mech Engg) from IIT Madras, holds a PGDM from IIM Calcutta. Has over 36 years of varied experience in the light engineering industry with focus on Materials and Supply Chain Management spanning the Automobile, Tractor and Earthmoving machines sectors. He has handled Procurement, Inventory and Logistics Management functions. Starting with Hindustan Aeronautics and moving to Eicher Tractors, he worked with Hindustan Motors, Bajaj Auto, TVS and HCL Technologies.
All along, he has tried to relate the industry experience gained with the academic and professional bodies like Schools of Management, MMA and CII.
