Ms. Geeta Santhosh joined SSN Institutions in 2003 and is currently working as Associate Professor in MCA Dept, SSN School of Management & Computer Applications (SSNSoMCA) where her teaching focuses on the areas of Object Oriented Programming, Object Oriented Analysis and Design and Distributed Computing. Prior to joining SSNSoMCA, she was associated with Asan Memorial Institute of Management Chennai. Earlier, she has taught at Prestige Institute of Management, Indore, M.P. and at Barkatuallah University Bhopal as faculty. She had also worked in the capacity of Scientist ‘C’ at Inter University Consortium Indore, a Department of Atomic Energy (DAE) concern currently known as CSIR Indore. Her work profile also includes being employed as trainer at NIIT Surat. Geeta has been coordinating many industrial collaborations undertaken by SSNSoMCA namely the off campus training of Entry Level Training recruits (ELT) of Cognizant Technology Solutions (CTS) Ltd and HCL technologies Ltd since 2004. She was also involved in the VSAT mode of training for the CTS recruits. Geeta was a coordinator and subject matter expert for one of the modules in the prestigious Learning Assets Development (LAD) project for CTS that involved development of training material for the ELTs. Geeta received her M.C.A from the School of Computer Science, Devi Ahilya University, Indore M.P.
Special Project/Assignments
o Cognizant Technology Solutions (CTS) outsourced 600 man hours of off-Campus Training Program to SSNSoMCA on project basis. It was held between December 2004 and May 2005. Was core coordination committee member and trainer for the modules Data Base Management Systems, Operating Systems and Client Server technologies o Coordinator cum trainer for CTS -SSN VSAT based training of ELTs of CTS across different locations all over India o Coordinator cum team leader in the Learning Assets Development (LAD) Project for CTS which done on consultancy basis. Faculty of SSNSoMCA worked with Cognizant as Subject Matter Experts (SMEs). The LAD was used for training of ELTs recruited by Cognizant. About 15 Faculty were involved in the project and 06 modules were developed. The faculty hours put in the project was 560 o SSNSoMCA faculty imparted about 150 hours of training, in the second phase of HCLT training program held at the SSN Institutions campus, for the newly recruited professionals.
